Scarborough, Jacqueline (Student Support Facilitator)

 

Jacqueline Scarborough has worked in the education profession for twenty-six plus years.  She has served the Special education community for fifteen years.  Mrs. Scarborough earned a Bachelor of Science Dual Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, a Master’s Degree in Education, and a Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership, with a Gifted, Mathematic, Reading, and ESOL endorsements.

                                                ·       18 plus years of classroom experience

 

As a leader in Special Education, her career has been geared toward support. She has a strong passion for supporting students, parents, teachers, and administrators; educating young minds, and helping them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals.  Her greatest strengths include organization, meeting compliance, inspiring and motivating students, and assisting new teachers.  Furthermore, Mrs. Scarborough strong communication skills are evidenced by the great rapport she has established with parents, colleagues, and students throughout her career.  She enjoys aquatic therapy, watching old Perry Mason movies and spending time with her husband and grandbabies. This is her first year in Henry County as the Student Support Facilitator of EXCEL Academy.
